In our growing church we are blessed with one of Western North Carolinas most productive and successful children's administrators. Sandy Crowe has over 20 years of experience in Children's Ministry as a Children's Pastor, Children's Event Coordinator, and Christian Education Director. She is leading our very capable group of Children's Leaders as each Sunday our children are led  into biblical knowledge of Christ and His Word. Your children will get the personal experience of worship and learning on their level. All in an atmosphere that  is safe and secure. We realize that your children are important to you, and even more important to God. Christ was purposeful when He said..."Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven"  -Matthew 19:14

In the bible the word “Wilderness” appears at least 300 times. Moses led Jethro’s flock through the wilderness before he came to the mountain of God.  Israel was commanded to go into the wilderness to meet with God and worship Him.  Moses went into the wilderness to see God face to face.  God sent His people to the Wilderness to work out all their characteristics that were not of Him. “The Wilderness” is more than a ministry designed name or a place where young people go to get away from everyone else. This is a group and a place where we come to learn more about God and who He is.  So come join us in “The Wilderness”! Wilderness Ministries is our youth group ages 12-18. They meet on Wednesdays following praise and worship, and attend various events and trips together, including missions, concerts, and conventions. 

We are ever mindful of our more mature members at Freshfire Church. There is an admiration and respect for those who have more experience and exposure to life over the years. Young @ Heart Ministries is focused on bringing together those who are 50 and older to a place of fellowship and commonality. It is our desire that all age groups within the body are given relevance and purpose in the church toward it's growth, workings, and future. We think you'll enjoy what it's about. 

Men of Fire is an active ministry at Freshfire Church. Led by Wes Ward, the Men's group works diligently at helping others in Hildebran and the neighboring communities. Progressively working to be devoted disciples of God, the men of Freshfire Church are driven to be lifelong learners and followers of Christ. Determined to go where He goes, do what He does, and to say what He says. If you're looking to get involved with a group that stays in touch and active, then Men of Fire is for you!
